One of the world's fastest growing Hotel Companies Millennium and Copthorne (M&C) Hotels entered a management and technical service agreement with Faruk Group Holding (FGH) to manage its properties in Sulaimania, Kurdistan. The pre-opening team of M&C is already on board and working actively to open: Grand Millennium Sulaimani. The flagship of the company and the Iconic Symbol of the city the Grand Millennium will include 256 rooms and suites, an all day dining restaurant, a Lebanese Restaurant and a Revolving Fusion Restaurant, in addition to several bars and lounges. The ballroom is far the largest in the whole country with a seating capacity of 1500 persons. The conference center includes a 360 seats auditorium and meeting rooms with the latest audio visual facilities. The recreation center does include a state of art wellness center with separate facilities for ladies and gents, in addition to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, squash courts etc.

The Grand Millennium has reached at present the finishing stage. Fit Out, Joinery and furniture has been awarded to HASSEB RASOUL a subsidiary of Emaar Industries & Investment who executed most of the prestigious projects of Emaar ARKCONSULT. Engineer Consultant with base in Abu Dhabi is the Main Consultant Office for this project.
